Network Engineering

Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices on a statewide backbone network and local area networks.

Research Engagement

Help university researchers to plan and troubleshoot research dataflows within the state and across the country.  Occasionally write (or assist in writing) grants.  Have served on a couple of grant review panels for national funding agencies.

Optical Networking

Configure and troubleshoot CWDM and DWDM optical gear from 1G/s all the way up to multiple 100G/s.  Fiber optic testing and planning.
